Sarah & Mike-- sneak peek!
May 8, 2008
I almost cried when the amazing Leigh Miller emailed me this morning with these few sneak peek detail photos from Sarah and Mike's wedding. I can't wait to blog the full day and tell you all about the design process and special details I created especially for them..
Until then- enjoy these beautiful dream like images..

The best wedding decision Mike and I ever made was hiring you to help us plan our wedding. There is a piece of the two of us in each of these details, and you helped bring that out. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping to create such a perfect day!!
, atI have been thinking about the wedding a lot, and I suspect many others who attended are doing the same. The pictures are beautiful, and a hundred other images from the day keep popping into my head. As stunning and beautiful as these pictures are, they are only a dim reflection of the experience you created, Rebecca. Yes, every visual detail was a perfect and artful expression of the "essence" of Sarah and Mike. But a wedding is so much more than that. It has occurred to me that you are a performance artist guided by the love and aesthetics of each couple, working with a different "crew" of amateurs each time. One brief rehearsal, one performance and the set is struck, to start the next one fresh and new. I am amazed it does not exhaust you. And I am still amazed at what you produced. Thank you.
, atleigh did a fabulous job capturing these gorgeous, well-thought out details! rebecca, everything looks so enchanting and lovely. the lemons evoke the most wonderful charm! congrats on another detail-laden event!! xoxo

You have just experienced one of the most incredible events of your life. The person who you love most in the world has popped the question and you have answered 'yes!' The whirlwind of the wedding planning world has now opened- questions and excitement from friends and family, your childhood wedding dreams re-visited, wedding magazines taunting you from the shelves of the check out lanes. You are finding yourself with a new language. A vocabulary full of words such as Fiancé, Chivari chairs, fondant--words you had no idea that you knew and now they seem to run off your tongue effortlessly.
I know how fast everything seems and how overwhelming it all can feel at first, so I created this blog to help answer questions, give advice and inspire new ideas.
